Jenson & Mitchell began in Newark in 1922. Over the years it has grown to be the largest Spring and Suspension Specialist in New Jersey. With 3 locations, over a dozen mechanics and technicians, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in inventory and specialized equipment, it’s the place to go for all your suspension needs.

Jenson & Mitchell has over 200 different leaf springs in stock, from as small as utility trailer springs (8lbs.) to as large as Mack Camelback springs (450lbs.) Since a leaf spring is only one component in the complex suspension design, we also stock hundreds of attaching parts such as hangers, pins, equalizers, bushings, and torque rods.

We are also specialists in truck steering repairs. We stock and replace king pins, and associated steering linkage parts. We can also repair badly worn axles using the Axle Surgeon axle sleeving system. When all the correct parts have been replaced we can align your truck using the latest in laser measuring technology from BeeLine, assuring you of safe handling and maximum tire life.

In 2000 our Paterson location began selling Fisher snowplows and ice control products. In 2006 we expanded our product line further with the addition of Hawthorne Hitch & Trailer Div. We now sell both Western & Fisher snowplows, service all brands, sell and service a variety of landscape and utility trailers.
